(wood tube table radio)

Teletone 111 (1948)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

AM. Rare radio not listed in the Bunis or Stein old radio books. Outer walnut slant waterfall case in very good condition with a few normal use marks. Uniquely styled brass grille backed by the original grille cloth still looks great. Dial glass and two original Teletone bullet knobs in fine shape. Chassis has been serviced (see below) and radio plays well with very good sensitivity just using its side mounted "Teleloop" antenna. Teletone was based in New York City and only made radios from 1946-1951. A rare and unusual for your collection! 11-1/8"W x 7-5/8"H x 6-1/2"D.
