This is an excellent example of a portable table radio of this historical period that also runs on house current. The case is a combination of tweed and simulated alligator skin. The dial surround, knobs and speaker grille are made of simulated tortoise shell plastic. The handle is leather. All are original and in excellent condition! Tubes have been checked; recapped, tuned, aligned and cleaned for excellent reception on its internal loop antenna. Definitely a must have for the collector who does not have a tweed portable in his collection! BC only, 117VAC or 90VDC & 8VDC, 13"W x 11"H x 5"D |
