This Motorola "lunchbox" portable is 60 years old but looks nearly new inside and out! The cabinet is metal covered in a durable, vinyl/leatherette material. There is a very small surface crack in the plastic handle and an even smaller nick/scuff or two, in the covering. These flaws are cosmetic and minor, but negatives are tough to find on this piece. The carry handle features a built-in directional antenna, which can be rotated for improved reception. The inverted chassis is very clean and looks to be completely original including tubes. Radio plays well, with good sound and no background hum. Unit was not tested on DC but there's no indication of any problem here. Comes with its original AC power-cord. 10-1/2"W x 8-3/4"H x 2-3/4"D.
