| This Strato-World covers FM, AM, SW1-3 and LW. It works great on all bands with AM and shortwave reception being especially impressive. A nicely designed two-part whip antenna rotates and locks into several positions with detents. When I got this radio the battery cover was missing its two lower tabs and would not stay on at all. I have attempted a fix, which has been working well enough for my purposes but it's not perfect or guaranteed. Cosmetically there is light to moderate wear with some minor scratches/scuffs. There's no 9-volt adapter but these are readily obtainable. This is a quality-built radio and very heavy for its size. |
