Clear Tone P211 Portable (1959)

These units were an ill-fated attempt to compete with the booming transistor market. These are among the smallest radios to hold a full four-tube superhet chassis. This one even has a leather case with carry strap like the transistors of the time. Unbelievably, this is a playing radio with good sound. Thick red plastic cabinet is in excellent condition. Comes with a new and expensive 67.5-volt ?B? battery. Offered as is. 6??W x 4?H x 2?D.
