THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

It is marked E.C. Simmons "precision-bilt," with no model number noted on this set. These were sold through E.C. Simmons Hardware Stores. It was probably made in the late 30's just prior to the company filing for bankruptcy in 1939. The cabinet has been completely restored including new grille cloth with original pattern. The chassis has been serviced. The set plays well on AM and also picks up some short wave. A rare and great looking radio. 14"W x 9"H x 6"D.
