The model 650 is a rare variation of the more common 653. It has the band and tone control switch on the rear of the chassis as shown. The labels are in amazing condition showing very little wear. I like the deep, mellow and brilliant markings for tone. the left knob in front of the set is a trimmer. It dates from about 1934 and is in original condition including knobs and grille cloth. The finish shows minor discoloration and wear, but still displays well. The set has been serviced including a new cloth covered cord. It plays well and receives on both AM and Shortwave. About 14-1/2"H x 11"W x 7"D. |
