THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD! |
The model 21 was first in a series with the classic cathedral design by Edward L. Combs. The set was released in March of 1931 before the models 70 and 90. By June of 31 the model 21 was discontinued, which makes it much harder to find. This very original survivor is as good as it gets. The grille cloth is a correct replacement, but otherwise all original. Included is the table also with original finish. the table was a $1.75 upgrade. The chassis is in excellent condition with all correct Philco globe tube including two 45's. The electrolytic caps were changed, but otherwise original unrestored. The radio still plays well. A great piece of preserved radio history. 41"H x 17"W x 11"D with stand. |
