This Philco "Baby Grand" met demand of the Depression with a more compact radio with style. This example is a rare find with the best original finish I've seen on this model. The grille cloth is the correct replacement. The tubes were replaced over the years. A jack was added, but then removed and plugged at the base of the chassis label. Otherwise it has had very little done and still retains the original cloth covered cord. I cleaned the chassis and the tubes all test strong. The radio still plays and receives several stations with strong volume, but the volume control is fussy. I'm offering it as found, a bench mark survivor and the restoration up to the new owner.
