The Zenith LS is a rare six-tube variation of the five-tube model L. It is noted in the book "Zenith Radio the Early Years" by Cones and Bryant. It is listed as a sub-model made in 1931 using the same chassis as the A, B and C models. There is no other information. The book questions weather or not the radio was ever produced. the cabinet replacement grille cloth was used. the chassis has been serviced and plays well, but no difference is noted with the tone control. In addition the speaker cone has been repaired. If Zenith sub-models are of interest then this may be the set for you. 18"H x 14"W x 9-1/4"D. |
