The Zenith Universal is a leatherette portable that dates from the 1950's. This five-tube set includes the sought after 1L6 tube used in Trans-Oceanic sets. there are two hairline cracks in the dial cover about 1-1/2 to 2" in length. On the plus side the case and chassis are in excellent condition. Four of the five tubes are Zenith and the chassis is very clean. In addition the chassis is all original and has never been serviced. The radio still plays well and it is offered as found. 12-1/2"W x 9-1/2"H x 6"D.
