THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD! |
A great looking radio you certainly don't see every day. This is the heaviest four tube or valve radio I've ever had! There is a grille bar missing and until I found a picture of it I would have never known by looking at it. The Bakelite knobs are period correct, but not original to the set. The grille is not original and the back is missing. From what I can see the speaker cone is gone, but otherwise the chassis appears complete. It was refinished at some point and still displays fine. Made in 1936 this radio was designed to operate at 195-255 volts. I think this is a great piece to just look at and so it is sold as is. 17-1/2"H x 14-1/2"W x 9"D. |
