| If you like early novelty sets then this is a must have. Primarily there were two variations made. An AM only battery set made in Japan and an AC AM/FM made in Hong Kong. This is an AM only AC radio made in Hong Kong which you don't often see. What makes this one such a rare find is the condition and the original hang tag. I have never seen a hang tag for one of these before. It says "The radio for champions" and includes the operating instructions and specifications. The radio shows only some minor surface wear and about as nice as you will ever find out of the box. The tag is also in excellent condition with no rips or tears. the radio has been tested and works well. About 14-1/2"H. |
