THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD! |
Production on the Victor model IV started in 1911 and ended in 1924. This one has serial #441119 and was made in 1919. This has the improved single spring motor design used after 1916. A darker oak stain was applied over the original finish. This was done decades ago. I'm guessing someone just wanted it darker because the cabinet is in near perfect condition. Otherwise the phonograph is all original. In addition the nickel plated parts are excellent and as nice as I've ever seen. The turn table felt has defects, but I feel still to good to replace. The motor runs quiet and smooth. A great example of this classic phonograph. |
