THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD! |
Here is a radio you don't see often, or should I say, don't see at all. This extremely rare Walton radio is the real Walton bearing the name. The label says that the factory was in Ann Arbor Michigan with executive offices in Toledo. It probably was two brothers working out of a garage with a cousin in Toledo! This is also the largest and heaviest four tube TRF sets I've seen. Also unusual is the solid pine cabinet. There is no plywood or veneer. I saved and restored the original finish. The original grille cloth is like new and the knobs must also be original. the chassis has been restored and plays well for a four tube set. A great chance to own a true piece of depression era history. 13-1/4"W x 10-1/4"H x 7"D. |
