THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD! |
This is a marriage of a model 84 cabinet with a model 80 junior chassis. Although I noted a model 80 Junior with an 84 cabinet in the archives, in case I don't believe it is correct. I am only able to receive stations up to 1550, which I believe is correct for the 80 Jr. The dial goes to 1700 on the 84. Otherwise the chassis is the same with the exception of two 36 tubes instead of the 77 tubes used in the model 84. It has the correct speaker for the model 84. The grille and knobs are original. The dial was damaged so I replaced it with the correct one used in the model 84. The cabinet has been beautifully refinished and has appearance of a very nice all original radio. The chassis has been serviced and plays well. It you're looking for a striking low cost cathedral this is it. |
