Here is an extra clean example of this collectible first generation cathedral. The cabinet has been authentically refinished and displays beautifully. There is a repaired crack in the escutcheon and one in the blank end of the dial as shown. The balance of the dial is perfect. The tube shield is missing, but otherwise the set is among the nicest I've seen. The chassis and speaker are in excellent condition and the transformer still shines like new. The grille cloth is a correct reproduction and it has a new cloth covered cord. This is an older restoration and the radio plays well. Without the tube shield you do get oscillation at high volume and so it's offered as is.
