| Dare to compare and I think you'll agree this may very well be the best original example of a 627 you will find anywhere on the net. Handling 1,000's of radios over the years, I can honestly say this is in the top three of all the AK cathedrals I have seen. Other than the replacement of tubes and exposed wiring this radio is entirely original. The cabinet shows only very minor wear. I was astonished to find that the original grille cloth shows no discoloration behind the grille bars. That tells me that this set has had little exposure to light. The components of the chassis just shine. In addition the set has been serviced and plays well. It will be a joy to own and display. 19"H x 14-1/2"W x 9-1/2"D. |
