Emerson 511 (1946)
(Bakelite tube table radio)

Emerson 511 (1946)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

A sharp example of the "Moderne" model in unpainted jet black Bakelite. No cracks or chips but there is plenty of shine! The wrap-a-round cabinet with its integrated recessed handle and curving back looks great from any angle! The gold-toned perforated metal grille is unblemished. The amber Lucite dial/day-glo orange dial pointer with ivory Plaskon dial light above & tractor style knobs below add to this neat Raymond Loewy design. The five tube AM only chassis plays well & loads from the bottom. This beauty will highlight any collection or decor! 11-1/2"W x 7-1/2"H x 7"D.
