| Bakelite radio circa 1950s. As pictures show, this one virtually appears to have been kept in a time capsule. Never seen the brown Bakelite as perfect as this one, wonderful gold filigree grille with reverse paint dial that the red station IDs glow when the radio is on. Minor tarnishing of inserts on knobs as shown and miniscule marks of reverse Lucite dial (probably factory) Perfect clean chassis and filter caps replaced on this one; serviced as necessary. Plays exceptionally well across the band. You would be hard pressed to find any finer original example anywhere. 10-1/2"W x 6-1/2"H x 5-1/2"D. |
