THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

This is one of 5000 units made for the military in 1953 and early 1954. Therefore rare. These radios are absolutely the best. More then any 500 or 600 I have had or restored. This is because they were built to military specification and without cost constraints. And this one is mostly complete with everything that came with the radio in 1954. Even the front name plate is original. You can see the USA on the bottom front and sides where it was stamped. This was actually used by the military but still looks pristine on the outside. It is restored with all new electrolytic and paper capacitors state of the are replacements which will allow the radio to play another 40 years like new. It is also cleaned, lubed and each band is aligned for peak performance. On the minus side the front dial plate has a few cracks. The light does not function. It does not have the original battery cylinder or technical manual. But it does have another complete set of tubes, lights and fuses. One year warranty. The radio will be shipped back to you by USPS Priority which only takes 2-3 days. Read some of my feedback on restoration on eBay under Hammer39.
