Hallicrafters SX-62 (1948)
(metal tube table radio w/FM/SW)
Hallicrafters SX-62 (1948)
This is a 16-tube, six-band AM/FM/Shortwave Receiver. I have replaced all the electrolytic and wax capacitors. I changed three tubes out and some resistors. It plays both FM bands and AM. I can induce frequencies into the Shortwave bands but it picks up only a few stations. This could be because it needs a large outside antenna. Because of this I am listed it for what I bought and put in it. It probably could be fixed by a Ham radio specialist but even so the parts on it are worth quite a bit to someone with a broken or missing parts SX-62. It about 65 lbs so shipping can be costly.  $175.00. (0040419)
