THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

This is the first transistorized Zenith Trans-Oceanic 1000 built in 1958. You can tell it was one of the first by the Genuine Leather stamp on the inside cover and the plastic attached battery box in the back. Also the internal design and some capacitors were different. Definitely a Zenith Trans-Oceanic collectors item. The firsts ones pick up frequencies better than the later ones. The case is in great condition for its age. The battery box is good as well as the extra antenna and logbook. It is restored with all new electrolytic capacitors which will allow the radio to play another 40 years like new. 1 year warranty. The radio will be shipped to you by USPS Priority which only takes 2-3 days. Read some of my feedback on eBay under Hammer39. A great price for the rare first 1000.
