THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

This is the first Zenith Trans-Oceanic 1000 built in 1958. You can tell it was one of the first by the Genuine Leather stamp on the inside cover and the plastic attached battery box in the back. It is definitely a Zenith Trans-Oceanic collector's item. The first ones always play extremely well. Most likely due to its internal design which is different then the ones built later. The battery box is pristine and logbook are in great condition. It also comes with an external wavemagnet antenna which you can see attached to the upper back. Very little alignment was needed. The radio is not just serviced which replaces some electrolytic capacitors. It is restored with all new electrolytic capacitors which will allow the radio to play another 40 years like new. One year warranty. The radio will be shipped to you by USPS Priority which only takes 2-3 days. Read some of my feedback on eBay under Hammer39.
