Zenith 3000-1 Trans-Oceanic (1965)
(plastic transistor portable radio w/FM/SW)

Zenith 3000-1 Trans-Oceanic (1965)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

This is a truly exceptional Zenith Trans-Oceanic 3000-1. It plays as good as it gets with these radios. Superb AM and shortwave and great FM. On the appearance side I put it at a 9.7 or so out of a perfect 10. It comes with a almost new condition battery box and log book. It can be hooked up to a AC adapter that you can purchase on eBay or you can play it with nine "D"-Cell batteries. The ninth battery is for the lights. It was purchased at an estate sale of a radio collector. All the electrolyte capacitors and wax capacitors were replaced. I also tuned each band to perfection. If you were to by this type of radio, you most likely would purchase my restoration service that I advertise on eBay under Hammer39. See my feedback. With shipping that could cost you $200 or more round trip to me. You get a restored radio, one of the best I have seen for a pretty good price.
