| Zenith Transoceanic 7000's are mainly bought for their FM. They pick up more stations then most radios and the quality of sound is superb. About one radio out of 10 that I receive do not pick up AM or Shortwave and unless it is a bad transistor, it is never going to play those again. But I have had quite a few 7000's that just play superb FM that I use in the house or give away. So this radio only plays superb FM and the weather band. The light switch works. The battery box is in good usable shape with some discoloration. It comes with a reproduction cord. No log book or battery sleeves. This one has the dial in weather band. It is restored with all new electrolytic capacitors which will allow the radio to play another 40 years like new. It is also cleaned, lubed and each band is align for peak performance. One year warranty. The radio will be shipped back to you by USPS Priority which only takes 2-3 days. A good price for a great playing radio anywhere in the house or at the beach. |
