| This will play better than any R7000 that you can buy on eBay. It is restored to play like new with all new electrolyte capacitors. There were only 25,000 R7000-2's made in 1981 so they are becoming rare. The -2 is the last of the R-7000 series and is sought after because it has large gears for its tuner. They do not break. Whereas the R7000 and R7000-1 small gear can break. The other problem with these radios, that no one ever talks about, is the bandswitch clicking mechanism. Half of the R7000's today do not have that working. This one's bandswitch clicker works well. The case is in very good condition but not as good as my other one for sale. Therefore a lower price for a great radio. The power cord is a reproduction and it does not come with the log chart. One year warranty. The radio will be shipped to you by USPS Priority which only takes 2-3 days. Read some of my feedback on eBay under Hammer39. |
