Setchell-Carlson 427 (1947)
(plastic tube table radio)

Setchell-Carlson 427 (1947)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

A beautiful cream plastic Frog-Eye Setchell Carlson radio. The plastic is flawless. I bought this at a estate sale of an old radio repairman and collector. It was restored with electrolyte and orange drop capacitors. The chassis is like new. The six tubes are good and it picks up stations and plays like dynamite. The dial scale is a reproduction from the old Rock Sea Enterprises. I have the original dial scale as well. The original dial cover has a small hairline crack in the corner. Not worth replacing. A good price for a excellent radio.
