This radio is especially good FM player for a 3000. It also is in excellent condition. The battery box is pristine with no rust or battery corrosion. It has on it a Hillman IF filter which is supposed to filter the whistles on the Shortwave Bands. I have only seen this one other time. It has been electronically restored to play like new. I replaced all the electrolyte and wax caps. I also cleaned it and aligned it to play like new. It comes with an original pristine log chart. You can play it with nine "D" cell batteries or you can also buy an AC adapter for about $25 from Radio Shack.
