THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD! |
There are three radios that I think have the best FM sound and pickup that were ever made. They are the Zenith Trans-Oceanic 7000 series, the McIntosh FM Tuners and this Zenith H845. This radio is an awesome FM player. I always have one or two in the house and I have sold over fifteen of them over the years. With eight tubes and a rectifier they pick up more FM stations then today's sets. AM is also very extremely good. Awesome sound comes out of two speakers: an 8" mid-range speaker and a separate 2" tweeter. Ten or fifteen years ago you could just buy one and they would play just great. Now most of them need the capacitors replaced. It has been electronically restored with new electrolyte caps and the wax caps as well. It has all its original parts to include a pristine back. A great price for a great radio. |
