Zenith 7000 Trans-Oceanic (1969)
(plastic transistor portable radio w/FM)

Zenith 7000 Trans-Oceanic (1969)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

This is an awesome FM/AM and Shortwave player. You can tell a great playing radio when there is very little alignment to the radio and it sounds so good. It is the first model of the Trans-Oceanic's 7000 series - Model 7000. I rate this radio as 9.0 out of 10 on the appearance scale. It has some blemishes on the lip of the front cover and the tip of the antenna plastic has 1/8 inch missing. There is one flaw to this radio electronically and that is you have to put the RF Gain-on in order to play AM and Shortwave but both play great as they should. The battery box is clean and unused. The AC cord is a reproduction. As with any 7000 or 7000-1's, the weather band depends on where you live since as there were five frequencies and this one may not be in your area. It can be played with a power cord included or batteries. The lights work fine and the antenna is straight and true. A great price for this radio.
