| Sometimes I get a radio that has some issues but needs to be fixed because it is a good playing radio. This is one of the last tube Trans-Oceanics made between 1959 and 1962. The radio has been electronically restored with all new capacitors, good tubes and state of the art diode. It has been aligned for peak performance. It is a very good player on AM and all shortwave bands. On the minus side, the dial is clear and in very good condition with one small 1" crack on the bottom corner of the dial. The dial cover is clear but has a missing piece on the right hand side of the radio. It is missing the pull down cover for the log chart. The original log chart comes with it. The Wavemagnet has a small crack on the side of the Wavemagnet. All other parts are there and in good condition. You can buy this radio for the price of a restored black stag Zenith T/O. and keep is a as great playing radio or find a brown Zenith T/O parts radio and have a collectors item. |
