THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

This radio was produced just prior to the S-38 series and since it was only produced two years, it is probably a hard radio to find, especially in white. Hallicrafters took over Echophone Radio Co. in 1935 and they produced this exact radio as the Echophone Commercial Model EC-1. It has a painted metal cabinet, a built in speaker, six tubes and three bands that cover 550KHz to 30MH. The cabinet and paint shows some use but in pretty good condition considering its age. The knobs and speaker are original and in excellent condition. All the electrolytic and wax caps have been replaced. All resistors out of tolerance were replaced and the radio was aligned for peak performance. Restored to play like new.
