THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD! |
Every now and then you come upon a radio that has not been touched except for tubes. All the parts are there down to the washers and lock washers. The antenna looks new, not tarnished and all the hardware looks new as well. Having the original paperwork usually speaks volumes for a well taken care of Leather Trans-Oceanic, and this is one of them. About the only negative thing I can say about this radio is that is a a 1/4" spider crack on the left screw hole on the front plastic plate and some scrapes on the leather from being used. I have restored it electronically and added a solid state 50A1 tube replacement for increased life. It is an awesome AM and Short-wave player and it comes at a very reasonable price for its condition. |
