| A really nice example of the S-120. The original painted cabinet is in excellent shape and the chassis is pristine. It also has the original Hallicrafters tubes and the back has the original detachable antenna. About the only minus side are some wear scratches on the front volume control and receive/standby switch. The receiver is a four band superheterodyne tuning AM band as well as Shortwave 1.7 to 31 megacycles. It also picks up a tremendous amount of overseas stations on the shortwave bands. It has been electronically restored with new capacitors. The selenium rectifier was replaced with the state of the art diode. It has been aligned to play like new. It has all the original knobs and internal speaker. |
