| This Zenith Trans-Oceanic plays AM, FM and Shortwave like it was new out of the box. It is not a collector's radio but an everyday great player. I have replaced all the electrolyte capacitors and have aligned the radio for peak performance. For portable use, I am including a 12 volt rechargeable battery that replaces the battery box and makes life easier without juggling 9 - D cell batteries. However, it does comes with the original battery box as well. I have include a AC to DC Power adapter for use in the house or garage. Also, the original Log book is include. The case is in good shape for its age and I would rate it a 8.5 out of 10 in appearance. The antenna is straight with no crimps. I guarantee the radio will play at your doorstep and if it should stop playing, I will fix it for free for a year after you receive it. The radio will be shipped and insured via USPS. |
