THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD! |
This nice looking AM radio is painted Bakelite and was made by Western Auto Supply in 1938. It is a six tube AM radio with great frequency pickup and awesome sound out of a 5" speaker. As you can see it has five push buttons in the front and a dial knob on the right side. All parts are original to include the cardboard back. It was originally owned by a collector and he preserved the paper work on the bottom with a plastic coating. The original paint on this radio looks pristine from three feet but if you get closer you can see a few very small touchup spots on the top and front. Overall nice shape for a 70 year old radio. Electronically restored to play like new. |
