Zenith Trans-Oceanic 1000 (1957)
(cloth/leather tube portable radio)

Zenith Trans-Oceanic 1000 (1957)

This rare radio was part of my Zenith T/O collection. It is rare because it was covered in leather rather than black plastic and is one of the first T/Os made by Zenith. It has the "Genuine Leather" logo inside the front cover and it also has the fixed hard plastic battery box which is in excellent condition. The brushed chrome finish does have some small pitting which is common for these type radios. However it is a good looking, superb playing AM/Shortwave radio. It comes with the log book and a detachable wave-magnet antenna. Plays with 9 D cell batteries. Email for questions.
