Zenith 805 Cathedral (1935)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

I found this radio four years ago and it was a project radio. The previous repairman moved the tuning shaft to make the radio work and put a Philco choke on the original speaker. This necessitated a complete refinishing job with 12 coats of Lacquer. The front flame pattern on the original veneer is just gorgeous. I have recapped and replaced all out of tolerance resistors and bad tubes. The grille cloth and knobs are exact replicas. Plays great on both Shortwave and AM frequencies. The Shortwave band is the old police & amateur radio band. Selling at a very reasonable price. 15??H.
