The Snap-up carrying handle which has the telescopic antenna in it helps to receive those distant stations. This radio can also receive FAA weather and navigation reports, marine and weather reports, ship-to-shore communication and ship-to-ship communications as well. This radio is in very good working and cosmetic condition. It will work on an Ac power supply as well as batteries.
