THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD! |
This model 202 is a strong six-tube Superheterodyne radio and was one of the very first of General Electric radios offered for public sale after World War Two, before that there weren't any radios manufactured for sale to the public; every electronic plant was busy in the war effort. I have gone through this radio and replaced all of its old type capacitors with new long lasting types, checked all circuits and each tube replacing when needed. This radio is now playing like new now. It has a large built in loop antenna for excellent tuning on the lighted dial. The very nice Bakelite case is in excellent condition, no chips deep scratches or cracks of any kind. 11-3/4"W x 7-1/2"H x 7"D. |
