Here is another very fine example of one of Zenith's wonderful Trans-Oceanic multi-band world-wide AM and Short-Wave radios. The model G500 was manufactured for just a short time, 18 months between 1949 and 1951 so there aren't too many of them around. It has been upgraded electronically, restored, all of its old capacitors have now replaced with longer lasting modern types, all of the circuits and the tubes have been checked out too and it's now working at its very best operating performance bringing in stations far and near all across the country and the world. The 5 foot Telescopic antenna is straight and true. As you can see the nice black canvas covered case is in very nice condition too. 16-3/4"W x 11"H x 7-1/4"D.
