Trav-Ler 5028-A (1948)
(cloth/leather tube portable radio)

Trav-Ler 5028-A (1948)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

This great looking little portable radio has a surprising amount of power. After a complete electric restoration and tune-up I was able to tune in at least twenty stations, clear and with plenty of volume. Cosmetically for a radio of this age it's in pretty amazing condition. There aren't any rips or tears in the faux snakeskin covering and the leather handle is in good condition too. The radio operates on 110-115 volts or 67.5 and 3 volt batteries. 8-1/2"W x 5"H x 5"D.
