THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

This is a five-tube Super-Heterodyne AM table radio. The nice looking case is made of dark brown Bakelite and is in excellent condition. This radio has been electronically restored, all tubes have been checked out, the older paper and wax capacitors all have been replaced with newer modern and longer lasting Mylar caps. The old type electrolytic capacitors have also been replaced so you will never hear that background hum older radios develop when they're old and tired and ready to quit. This Motorola model has what's called an Aero-Vane Antenna built in the back of it which gives it excellent reception most anywhere. Back in the 40's and the early 50's with most radios you needed to have an outside antenna of some kind to pick up radio signals from different stations but not so with the Aero-Vane Antenna. 12-1/2"W x 6-3/4"H x 6-1/4"D.
