Here's a very nice example of a pre-War wooden table top radio. Manufactured in 1940 just prior to WWII, after which the manufacturing went to the war effort and no consumer radios were manufactured. This radio has been electronically restored and is working very well, broadcasts on AM as well as has a Short-Wave band. It has a large 6-inch speaker which brings in broadcasts loud and clear both on AM and Short-Wave. Lighted dial and it has a large loop antenna to bring in those distant stations. 14"W x 10"H x 8"D.
