It works very well and the case is in great cosmetic condition, the chrome is bright with no corrosion. The 39- inch telescoping antenna is straight and true. Has a working dial light and a battery check gauge. On the back there is a "World Time Table" so you will know the best time to receive broadcasts from many different countries. It works with four "D" size batteries (not included). In the back there is also an auxiliary speaker jack also a phonograph jack that could be used to play your iPod or MP3 through the radio and hear your pre-recorded music, etc. 11-1/2"W x 10"H x 4"D, 11.9 pounds.
