Philco 60MB Tombstone (1934)
(wood tube tombstone radio)

Philco 60MB Tombstone (1934)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

The Philco 60MB was the very first of many tombstone style radios and considered to be a pretty modern design for the times. The M in the model number I'm told stands for 'Modern' and related to a class of the Art Deco style which peaked in 1937. This model uses the same chassis as 60B Cathedral radio. This radio has been electronically restored and is working very well. 17"H x 13"W x 8"D.
