THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

This radio was made by The Hearever Co. in my own town of Castro Valley, California. It's shaped like the space capsule Freedom 7 in which The first American astronaut Alan Shepard made the first space flight mounted atop a Redstone rocket on May 5, 1961. The Rocket Crystal radio was made by this company, too. Marked Mercury 7 for NASA's Mercury Project. New, in the original unopened package.
