Here is an exceptional 1940 Emerson Catalin 400 "Aristocrat" designed by Norman Bel Geddes. Rare color that is a striking mix of swirl yellow and white. No breaks or repairs. Recently restored electronically: full recap and all other components such as tubes and resistors have been checked and replaced where bad or weak. Plays well. Nice FYLP repro back and a new correct crystal clear Palmquist dial cover. Beautiful yellow (not butterscotch) with heavy white marbled swirls on all panels and is very translucent. Polished with a nice shine, no cracks or repairs. Original brown handle and original correct knobs and grille and inserts. The color alone makes this a stand out radio. Play & display!
