Considered as one of the most collectible of all of these old radios and displayed on the popular television program "The Waltons." The condition of the cabinet is remarkable with a with nearly a perfect original finish. Clearly, this is the nicest example of this particular model I have offered for sale. The speaker cloth is original and in terrific condition for its 80+ year life, and the knobs the iconic factory original "Z" wood knobs. Note this example has a brand new old stock 6T5 eye tube, a true rarity! The motor works perfectly in both directions. My tech has completely disassembled the shutter dials and cleaned and oiled them for smooth operation. Add the huge flywheel to the tuning and you have the finest of accurate tuning. We located a very bright and sensitive 6T5 eye tube, unique to Zenith radios and extremely scarce. He also has added a mini-jack allowing you to connect to an external device.
